We know how you like it and we are delivering the vibes as the music producers drop their productions for all Soca music fans; it's Jogo time people. This is a production from CoolBlaze and Skorch Bun It featuring some of your favorite Soca artists. The producers teamed up with College Boy Jesse, Ricardo Drue, Swappi, and WiLDFiRE to deliver a blended vibe under the moniker of "Jogo"... we feature the Jogo Riddim.
So what do we think about the song? Well, we don't like to dig into people's work but this one brought us to this place. Once again, to be clear, we love this vibe. Having said that, here are a few comments.
College Boy Jesse
Summer Body (lyrics) flows well with the music, we give College Boy Jesse props for his flow on this riddim. We can envision those Summer Body girls doing their thing in fetes... what a sight to behold! We do have one complaint about this song, we feel that the end was a bit abruptly.
It's Drue!
Drue was given the task to carry the theme song for the riddim. Drue put his stamp on the riddim with his singing style. However, we think 'Summer Body' lyrical content flows better on the riddim. Drue does not need any help... he is already a leader and is well known in the business of Soca.
Swappi
No worries by Swappi... here comes the Swap man. This man has a unique style that bodes well for his future place in Soca. This vibe by Swappi is very catchy, we have to watch this one and tune in to see how well it does... we like how this song faded out.
WiLDFiRE
Play Your Body by WiLDFiRE could be one of those songs that could become an anthem for road warriors if only we can figure out a way to have a carnival celebration and keep people safe.
The bottom line for the Jogo Riddim is that one can find a vibe to like. They are all good productions and we love them all. Yes, we like College Boy Jesse's track much but that ending needs to be fixed. We-vibe right with this riddim, well done CoolBlaze and Skorch Bun It.
