BTW (Behaving THe Worst) is the next stage of the song released by Machel Montano with similar initials HMA (Happiest Man Alive). Machel's song was co-written by Skinny Fabulous and Machel himself but this writing is a solo effort by Skinny Fabulous. This song sounds tame in comparison to songs done by this artist in the past. However, the main problem is that the song is on the same 'riddim' of Machel's HMA and everyone has identified the rhythm with the voice of Machel Montano. I think they waited too long to release this song and for that reason it does not resonate well. I just feel that Skinny Fabulous sounds like he is holding back with the performance of this song!
Usually when a rhythm is released one expects to hear a few good offerings and like the Project 5 rhythm each artist places their unique stamp on the rhythm. I don't think that Skinny has placed his stamp on this rhythm. When I hear the music I refer back to Machel's HMA! Skinny sounds like someone took away a bunch of his testosterone when he was recording this track! There is no punch line and he sounds too passive singing this one....
I am not impressed with this offering from Skinny... maybe it is one of those rhythms that artists should stay away from or be sure that they have something good to bring to the table. If not they will all be mesuared against Machel's HMA!

Skinny Fabulous makes a big contribution in the Soca arena with his newest release BTW (Behaving the Worst). This song comes as the sequel to the already very popular track performed by Machel Montano - Happiest Man Alive (HMA), written by Skinny and produced by Alex "Kubiyashi" Barnwell. The two artistes have always enjoyed a long standing working relationship - this latest project comes as an evolution to this professional relationship.
The two artistes are known for big collaborations in the past on records like 'Fetting On', Charge up Remix (Hunny Bunny Riddim), and Monstrosity (Monster Remix) - all in conjunction with the same producer Alex "Kubiyashi" Barnwell. BTW is everything is sounds to be and more - stepping out of his comfort zone Skinny lets go the rough persona to reveal a surprisingly more melodic one; Nonetheless he is still Gamal "Skinny Fabulous" Doyle rough or melodically he is behaving the worst!
