If you were disappointed that you didn’t get to see the Chutney Soca Monarch Semifinals last night at Flava Food Village, Queens Park Savannah in Port of Spain. The newly announced finalists might ease that frustration—and trust us, it’s a strong cast. Can one of the ladies dethrone MM?
The finalists for the 2026 Chutney Soca Monarch have been confirmed after a fiery semifinal round, with Savita Singh, Lady Lava, and Rasika Dindial emerging as the top performers. They now spearhead the anticipated historic showdown at Skinner Park, San Fernando, on Sunday, 8th February.
This year’s competition carries extra intrigue. In the event’s 31‑year history, no woman has ever claimed the crown, and many are watching closely to see if 2026 could finally be the year that barrier breaks.

- Chutney Soca Monarch (the main event/overall champion)
- Queen of Chutney Soca (the best female performance)
- Traditional Chutney Monarch (This one is for the purists)
