Thousand by Bunji Garlin | Trinidad & Tobago Soca 2025

As we gear up for the upcoming US general elections, our Soca music artists are releasing new songs for our unique style of Carnival bacchanal. Today, we feature a new music release from Ian "Bunji Garlin" Alvarez for Trinidad's 2025 Carnival. Stratosphere Muzic produced the new release, which Parry Jack mixed and mastered to bring the carnival spirit to life.

Having said that, I must admit that this song isn't my favorite. It sounds and feels too familiar, like something I've heard before. Most of Bunji's fans won't care and will surely love the song. But to be sure, I feel that it sounds too reminiscent of past carnival hits and does not bring the excitement usually expected from a Viking music release.

So, what do you think? Do you believe "Thousand" will achieve success, or will it fall short of expectations for Carnival 2025? Share your thoughts below!
