Top Ten Soca | April 6-12, 2023

List from facebook.com/COTT portal © COTT
The following is the latest list showing the 'Top 10' radio plays in Trinidad and Tobago as monitored by COTT (Copyright Organization of Trinidad and Tobago). I would like to remind those interested in these charts that these plays are for the country of Trinidad and Tobago.

It is amazing what a week can do to make such a difference! The top two positions are held by Olatunji and Kes x Shaggy, respectively. "Shake the Place" by Machel Montano and Destra Garcia has moved into the third spot while "Hard Fete" by Bunji Garlin has fallen off the top ten list. "Stage Is Yuh Name" by Fay-Ann Lyons has moved into the top ten songs of the week.

How COTT generates the chart:
Our chart is informed by data obtained from VERICAST - the software used by COTT to capture this and other types of musical data. The chart represents the local radio play of our members and, does not include music created by non-members. We monitor approx. 34 stations during this process. The data is then tabulated on a weekly basis, and the top 10 songs played across all stations make up the #TOP10.

Let us promote the culture of the Caribbean diaspora:
