The people and culture of Trinidad & Tobago do not remain stagnant. Instead, it is continually changing to meet the needs of the growing audience that discovers the vibrance and versatility of the music we love... Soca music. Today we feature the Spanish version of the song that won the Road March competition in Trinidad and Tobago. That song, Hard Fete, sung by Ian "Bunji Garlin" Alvarez, not only won the Road March Title but was one of the major hits for all party enthusiasts... Fetting with this song was a must for Carnival 2023 in Trinidad & Tobago.
For this post, we feature the Spanish version created by Mr. Renzo. This is a tribute to Bunji and the original production team. Trinidad is now home to thousands of Venezuelans and with Central America embracing Soca music we think that this version will find a niche place that will help propel Soca music to higher heights.
