Congratulations to Sekel McIntosh of Queens Royal College for winning his third consecutive Junior Soca Crown in the 2023 Secondary Schools category! This is a remarkable achievement and a testament to his dedication, work and talent. Winning a competition three times in a row is difficult and shows his true champion status.
We are also pleased to report that Celine Charles of Valencia RC emerged victorious in the Primary Schools category. It's always encouraging to see young talent recognized and encouraged. I hope this victory inspires Celine to continue pursuing her music passion.
Overall, it sounds like the 2023 Junior Soca Competition in Trinidad was a success. I'm sure that the contestants, their families, and the organizers are all proud of what they accomplished. We wish all the winners and participants the best of luck in their future musical endeavors!
