"Almost a carnival' indeed! Dj Private Ryan got that one right and then again, after experiencing 'Pod Party Style' feting one can understand the need for a good "Post Carnival Relief" mix-tape. Today, on the heels of his very popular "Pod Party" mix-tape Dj Private Ryan delivers another fantastic mix-tape entitled, "Post Carnival Relief 2022 | Almost a Carnival". It's time to groove people!Some will simply get into the mix and enjoy the vibes but others will question, what is "almost a carnival'? Well, to start, there was no street parade, no bands on the road, no masqueraders just exploding in street revelry. The carnival fetes were lacking in intensity and limited by the simmering pandemic scare. We had Pod parties, Pod shows but a little something is better than nothing at all!
The Soca artists did not disappoint, and keep in mind that many artists lost money this season! They paid for new music productions but did not have the opportunity to earn income for missed performances that come with a good some and fete promoters willing to pay to have them perform their songs on stage.
Keep hope alive people, there is a feeling that next year we will be back to the full carnival experience
