Artists Bio:
Carlton's first stint at professional singing was with an acapella group called Visions of Glory that was formed by his aunt Hazel. He grew up loving R & B, soul, and gospel music greats like Mahalia Jackson, Aretha Franklin, Luther Vandross, and Stevie Wonder.

Carlton has ventured into the calypso world where he captured the AMCHAM (The American Chamber of Commerce of Trinidad and Tobago) calypso monarch title in 2012. From that time, he has been in winners row in some regional competitions. In 2013 he placed 2nd in TSTT’s Annual Calypso Competition.

The year 2014 was Carlton's most successful yet; he was a finalist in the prestigious Young King's Calypso Competition and placed third in the Arima Monarch Competition. He was proud to have won the 2016 Calypso competition at TSTT. In 2018, Carlton took to the big stage at Skinner Park. For this debut performance, he entered with his own composition entitled, “Glorified Gangsta”.

Carlton also represented Trinidad and Tobago regionally and was featured as a guest performer at Carifesta (the Caribbean Festival of Arts) in 2019. Once again, he made it again to the Young King’s final with his original composition entitled, “Cell Phone Addicts”. After 10 years in Calypso, he is about to release his first Calypso album.
