Sometimes all you need is a good hook to have a hit song. That may be the case for Destra Garcia's latest music release. The hook, "Soca Saved My Life" is very infectious and receiving rave reviews from her fans online (YouTube). Now let's get the official stuff out of the way; this is new music for Trinidad and Tobago Carnival 2019. The song, 'Soca Saved My Life", is a production of Starblu Productions and Kamau Georges. The vocals come to you via the Queen of Bacchanal, Destra Garcia.

You are going to hear a lot of 'Soca saved my life' throughout this song. The rhythm of the song will captivate you and get you in a carnival feting mood for sure. This song, according to most of the comments, is tailor-made for steel band competition aka Panorama. Of course, the addition of the national instrument in the song only adds to the excitement. Destra brings the excitement and drama with her commanding vocal performance. This one will be a hit and receive much radio play in the coming days... we think that this one will be one to watch for the upcoming Panorama competitions across Trinidad and Tobago.
