“D Honour Riddim” is to reflect and pay tribute to all the Iconic and Legendary Calypsonians that came before us. Four artistes were chosen for this riddim: - Lord Relator, Incredible Myron B, Sadiki, and Mistah Shak.

This year I have chosen not to neglect our legacy and heritage, by choosing "J' ouvert Barrios" sang by the Roaring Lion.

Roaring Lion (Hubert Charles) Rafael Arias Cairi Llama de Leon (1908-1999) was born in the Caura Mountains, Brasso Caparo – North East Trinidad in 1908. Lion won a total of 7 Road Marches with 5 consecutive wins as follows:
