Ace Steel band arranger, Duvone Stewart out of Trinidad and Tobago, arranged the winning performance for Starlift Steel Orchestra to win the Panorama Competition in Saint Vincent for Carnival 2017.
One has to wonder what is the situation with the local steel-pan music arrangers. It should be noted that both the first and second place winners used Trinidad and Tobago steel pan music arrangers. This is an interesting development considering the fact that the Vincy Massive is very proud of their personal achievements in Calypso, Soca and Steel Band music.
