Panorama Semi Finals Results 2017 | T'dad and Tobago

The Queens Park Savannah came alive with sweet steel-band music that started early Sunday morning and ended in the early hours of Monday morning. It was 'Pan In Yuh Pwefen' to use Trinidadian street talk.. yes it was that good.

Now comes the glory and the angst that the results of the semi-final round of competition brings. Not every band can go to the finals but for those that do make it, the feeling is euphoric. Those that don't get in will experience the feeling of a wake, as if someone close to you died. The pan-yard will have a few disgruntled members discussing the outcome and the refrain will be, 'dey thief we'!

We don't have a choice, we have to leave the pain behind and for those who made it to the finals they need to temper the enthusiasm and get back to work to fine tune, add and or take away to ensure that the next time they perform at the Queens Park Savannah it will be a performance to remember. A performance that will crown the band as Panorama Champions for Carnival 2017 in Trinidad and Tobago.

The finals for the Large Bands Category is scheduled to take place at the Queen's Park Savannah on Saturday February 25th. 2017. Both the Large and Medium Bands will compete on this night,

It should be noted that because of a tie for tenth position (Starlift  and Supernovas with 266 points) there will be eleven large bands in the finals this year (instead of ten).

Please note that the bands 'colored red' did not make the finals. The bands in bold black move on to the finals. This year the Small Bands will have a different finals night of competition (Thursday 02/23/2017) while the Large and Medium Bands will compete on the same night at the Queens Park Savannah (Saturday 02/25/2017).
