This is new music Friday on Sokah2Soca! Today we feature a new music release by Machel Montano for Trinidad and Tobago Carnival 2017. The song is entitled "Wave".

This not a song that shouts out 'Carnival'. This is a song that is meant for two persons who have strong feeling for each other and need time alone. This is not a wine up on me type of song. The song was well written  and the vocal deliver was measured; in this case we mean thoughtful and carefully considered.

The bottom line is that this is a very good song but not the type of song that would create a stir on social media. Take "Fast Wine" as an example, that song is blowing up on social media. We don't think that this song will have the same impact. However, we do like the vibe and the message delivered.

We always look forward to music releases from Machel Montano and will continue to support him. Please keep in mind that the success of these songs depends on your support. Let me say it again, now it is up to you to ensure that this song rides the airwaves. Please call in to your favorite radio jocks and request the song.
