Wajank, when last did you hear this word used in a sentence on a day to day basis? D' Chancellor wants to tell his story. However, before we proceed let's take in some information provided by the production team: Wajank (noun):  A Person who acts in an irresponsible or reckless manner. Origin: Trinidad, slang! Good now that the basics are out of the way we have to tell you that this is new music for Trinidad and Tobago carnival 2017; the singer is D Chancellor.

The singer's name may not be familiar but one should appreciate this song because, out of the box, you learned something about Trinidad slang language! Oh, I see, it is not about the lesson you learned (I hope that you did appreciate the efforts of the singer and producer), it has to be about the music! Well, don't you think that the music has a vibe?

How many boring Riddims have you come across and you loved them all? Now listen to this song and pay attention to the music.. it is different and that makes it stand out! Are you feeling me now? This production takes you to your back yard to a lime with your friends 'back in the day'. This is a song for the guys... we love it!

The lyrical content tells a story and from that story, the lesson thought about the meaning of the word, 'Wajank' should help you appreciate the story in song. It may just be that this guy does not have a "name in the industry" like Bunji or Machel... I was just thinking out loud!
