The Chutney Soca Monarch champion was crowned last night at Skinners Park in San Fernando. 'Same Gyal Twice' by KI Persad was the winning song; a good song indeed but is it as good as the song featured for this posting?  The song is entitled 'Roti' and it is hot!

Well regardless of what anyone may think this song entitled "Roti" by Raymond Ramnarine is my Chutney Soca Vibe for Carnival 2016. This song is boss!

"Roti" was produced by 'Bakyard Productions' and recorded and mixed by Raymond Ramnarine and Nikholai Greene. This song has great flow and the music is just awesome. If you paused for a moment and thought that it was Machel Montano singing that is OK (Raymond has the voice!).

It is just fine to celebrate with KI and Rooplal Girdharrie today (Winners of the Chutney Soca Monarch and Traditional Chutney Monarch) but you will have to play 'Roti' by Raymond Ramnarine to mash up the fete! Real Talk...
