Hashtag HYSM | Mistah Shak | Trinidad & Tobago 2016

Mistah Shak has delivered a gem for the start of the Calypso season in Trinidad and Tobago for Carnival 2016. The song is entitled Hashtag HYSM (#HYSM). HYSM is an acronym for 'Hush Yuh Stink Mouth'. This song is clearly pointing to an incident that took place recently in Trinidad and Tobago's Parliament.

Can you hear it? The people are going crazy and the tent is abuzz with chants of Kaiso Kaiso... that is the term used when a Calypso is really good. The encores will be plentiful and Mistah Shak should have his honey and lime mixture on hand to keep his voice well tuned and ready for repeat performance!

Mistah Shak is on fire! If you hear something that is current and could top this song then let us know. Please use the comment feature of this posting to share your thoughts. This one is clearly a front runner for the upcoming Calypso competition 2016. What is your opinion?
