Everything Tun Up | Kemistry | Monsterrat 2015

Today we present a very talented group that goes by the name of "Kemistry". They hail from the beautiful island of Montserrat out of the Caribbean basin. They are young talented and  very motivated to leave their mark on the Soca music industry.

"Kemistry" is a "young group of Montserratian artists based in New York:  Kofi, Esi and Kwesi Samuels".

I had the pleasure of meeting and chatting with these young and very talented children of the Caribbean diaspora. They deserve to be showcased and promoted. I am very please to present their latest video  presentation here on Zagada, If you love what your hear then please use the comment feature of this posting to let them know how you feel. Trinizagada, the blog, is an equal opportunity music forum. We don't always get to promote artists and music from some of the smaller Soca markets but today is a day for the music and people of Monsterrat. Please spread the word and support theses talented young people.


Bio/Kemistry:
Kofi Samuels first began performing at age five; he sang a song entitled "Take Me Back (To Montserrat)". His song, "In Love (With this Emerald Isle)" was a hit song in Montserrat when he was just 6 years old.

The year was 2012 and at the age of 12 Kofi was accompanied by his sister (age 10) and his brother (age 8) on their debut album as The Soca Bunnies, Golden festival.

They released the single "Everything Tun Up" for the 2013-14 Montserrat festival season coming first runner up with the song in the Monsterrat Soca Monarch Competition. They released their next album: Soca Reaktion for the 2014-15 Festival Season.
