Brace | Bunji Garlin | Trinidad & Tobago EDM/Soca 2015

Brace, the song, is not your typical Soca music release; hell no, it is not! This is a production that came from the extremely talented iM4Rio along with 'Darkfader' aka 'Bunji Garlin' racking up points on the lyrical and vocal side of the production. This is EDM/Soca and the song is entitled "Brace"... 'yuh better hold on to something'!

This is one track that I was looking forward to hearing from the moment the track name was mentioned but especially because it was the brainchild on the production side of iMaRio of Kes The Band. If you were waiting on something to 'wake you up' then this release has what it takes to wake up all carnival feters... the ting now start! Damn iM4Rio but down a wicked vibe for Bunji!

I am aware that many of the die hard Soca music lovers will not gravitate to this song but it was not created for 'Old People' musically speaking but age itself could come into play. This vibe is for those whom are young and young at heart. This music was created not just to impact the local scene but more so to appeal to the international audiences. So let's put it this way, "I've got the Ace of Spades" and it is time to BRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

Brace should do well on the European scene where EDM music is a staple but it could also get its fair share of play in England and the US where Bunji's fan base continues to grow. I like the song and especially the vibe presented by the producer. Well done iM4Rio! Let the music play on and good vibes prevail!
