Flip the script and bring about phase two of the 'fat gyal versus slim gyal' but keep it familiar and milk the subject do it in such a manner that it create competition that people will be drawn towards. Hey, what the hell, use the very popular Rolly Polly song vibe and simply let it flow as the "Rolly Polly Riddim". Well it has happened and what we have here is the other side of the coin of the song that took Trinidad and Tobago's carnival like a tsunami that swept across the cultural landscape. Indeed Mr. Killa has to be smiling or could be 'vex as hell' with this one entitled "Macaroni Gyal" sung by Saint Lucian singer, "Crocodile".

I mentioned that this is phase two of the song's progress and since Mr. Killa did such a fantastic job on every level with this song we will have to wait and see if the artist known as "Crocodile" can emulate the impact that Rolly Polly had in Trinidad and Tobago. I am sure that the Lucian slim 'gyals' will be going head to head with Mr. Killa's original plus sized 'gyals dem' rendition of the 'Rolly Polly" musical vibe. The saga continues and the shots will be fired for the Lucian festival. Let's wait for the video clips of both songs as they carve out their respective paths for this up coming Lucian Carnival celebration. 

I have to admit that I really enjoyed listening to this version done by Crocodile. Maybe it is the original music and the fact that he simply stated the opposite view on this topic. The music and vocals have a nice flow on this track... it should do well in Lucia!
