This is new music from Machel Montano HD and Precision Productions; The song is entitled "Ritual". I guess when you listen to this song Sparrow's Congo Man comes to mind. This may just be a follow up to Machel's remake of "Witch Doctor" better known as "Congo Man".
This song is on a riddim entitled "Sundance" and that means we will be hearing other artists on this vibe very soon. Both songs are posted here so that you can have an idea where Machel and his production team are going with this new offering.
I guess many of the purists will not be happy with the winin' theme of this song. However, Machel clearly stated that winin' is his 'ritual'! Now that we cleared that up we can give an opinion about the song. As far as the music is concerned there is nothing special about it; it has a good carnival vibe and you will be able to 'wine up' and get on as bad as you want to while feting. The lyrical content is better than his previous release entitled "Junction" but will still be considered just 'OK'! Final thoughts... a good carnival jam track but nothing to call home about - he gets a pass mark!
