Just when you thought Machel Montano was done with new or re-mixed music we have a music blast with the remix of his monster hit "Happiest Man Alive".  The remix comes just one day before Fantastic Friday whe the finalists of the competition go up against Machel to attempt to take away the titles he won last year. I have no doubt that Mr. Machel Montano HD is ready to deliver a stellar performance. We don't have long to wait!

This song, "Happiest Man Alive" is Machel's song of choice to defend his Groovy Soca Monarch title. The song was co-written by Gamal "Skinny Fabulous" Doyle, Machel Montano & Alex Barnwell. It is interesting to note that "Skinny Fabulous" will be singing "Behaving The Worst" in the same category using the same riddim!

Maybe we may get a little taste of the "Road Mix" when Machel performs this song for the finals. Everyone knows the song and if he wants to reclaim the Groovy Soca Monarch title he needs to bring his "A" game when he performs at position number 12; Machel will perform last. Everyone knows that he can command the stage and engage his audience but he needs to be super careful and not shout but sing his song! If he takes his time and avoid shouting then he could edge out the rest in this very competitive Groovy Soca category.

In the mean time take a listen to the remix and get a feel for the music produced by Alex "Kubiyashi" Barnwell out of Saint Vincent.
