This looks the year that songs glorifying music trucks on the road on carnival day become en vogue for festival 2014. We have another truck song for carnival 2014 and this one is sung by Michelle X. The song is entitled "By The Truck"; it was written by 'Road Runner Entertainment', produced by Terrance James and mastered by Andrew Bowen.
This is just another Soca Song for festival 2014. There isn't anything special about it but it has the pace for masqueraders to have loads of fun on Carnival Monday and Tuesday. Michelle X is the singer and she sings her heart out trying to convince party goes to have fun with the song. However, I have to say that with all her conviction I don't think that her voice has the depth or power to convince the Power Soca lovers to believe in her.
Now we must give credit where credit is due... she sang her 'pants off,' but her voice was not powerful enough to convince me that 'she is for real' as a Power Soca singer.
