This new release from Orlando Octave entitled "Keep Ya Body Movin" is a true to form Carnival themed song. He is not mixing his words and comes to the point immediately. Simply put this is the type of song that the younger generation, those young at heart and those with mischief on their minds would gravitate to this song for sure. Keep your ears peeled for the phrases 'push your bumper right back on meh', 'keep your body moving gal, keep wining on meh' and 'keep that bumper on me' and you will understand why this song will reverberate well with the younger generation.
Take a listen to the song and judge for yourself. Some of the on-line DJ's thing that this is a 'hot track' and labeled it 'wicked'. This song may have its place in some house parties but I can't see this one taking off for Carnival. Maybe they see or hear something that I can't conceive of at this point in time. This is where you come in...what do you think? Hit song... I don't think so and, as a matter of fact, I will say it will fall off quickly as the new songs are released by the better known artists.
