This song should become your Christmas anthem for 2013 years to follow for sure! The idea behind this song is long overdue. After you read the press release below, I guarantee that you will smile (and say for real boi) and, especially after reading about the loafer (aka sponger) that the lyrics of this song brings to life your will shout out, "Oh Chune Boi"!

This is new music for Christmas 2013 and for years to come. If you did not know then let me tell you here and now...listen up! This is new music from two very talented Paramin Parang lovers (yes, that place where the air is sweet and music takes on a special form of niceness). Gailos, I hope your are liking this posting!

After listening to the song, and dancing to the music, call someone and let them know about these very talented singers. They are not only talented singers but are also very smart young men; they were smart enough to get Myron Bruce involved with the production of the song - kudos to Myron B for the production work!

The quality of the recording is excellent and the instruments sound as if they are playing live in your living room. The lyrics are funny but relevant and 'Dem Boys' could really sing. It is my pleasure to present this track titled "He Want Rum" for your listening pleasure. Please spread the word and give these talented young men the support and notoriety they surely deserve. We are David (28) and Adrian (27), two friends who grew up with a love for music and having a good time. Hailing from the hills of Paramin where the air is rare and the love for Parang music embedded in our very nature. We have been singing Parang music for over 12 years and 4 years ago started to get into writing our own songs. 

This song is our first recorded Soca - Parang, but it will not be our last.  The inspiration for this song came from many years of house to house 'Paranging', our experience is that no matter where you go to lime and play music there is always someone who comes along and is just a bother.  Never contributing to the lime and can’t play an instrument or even know words to one song, their only goal is to eat, drink and most times give trouble.  With those ideas in mind and with the help of Myron-B at Incredible Entertainment we gave life to the song now known as - He want Rum.
