Not all the major Carnivals are over for 2013 but if you are thinking about Labor Day in Brooklyn or even Miami Carnival then you are still missing out on another West Indian style Carnival celebration. Nestled in Central America, yes Central America is the country of Belize and next month, September, it is Carnival time! Hey and guess what... the music of the carnival is Soca!
The celebration takes place through the streets of Corozal, Orange Walk (aka Sugar City) and Belize City. Yes, you can go and celebrate with Soca music and dance on the streets just like you do for any carnival celebration in the Caribbean. The music is Soca and today we feature a track from the artist known as Supa G. The name of the song is 'Mash It Up'. Take a listen and get a feel for Belezian Soca.
