Today is the day that we revel in our creative brilliance. We celebrate our universal appeal with many colors as we parade on the streets of Port-of-Spain. We are a proud and beautiful people parading and frolicking on the street without stress or hangups; just overflowing exuberance. We are truly celebrating our genius in hues of colors, music and dance and we do it all as the national flag flutters in the Caribbean wind. Red White and Black can mean so many things but today it manifests itself as National Pride!
Go out there and celebrate the Red, White and Black and know that regardless of what people think of us or say about us we are a proud people that gave the World a culture and music that many have copied and laid claim too but can never do it better that we can. We are Trini to the Bone! Enjoy the Carnival and be safe... be your brother's keeper today!
