Carnival Lagniappe 2025: Golden Hands Steel Orchestra plays "Mih Lover"


Usually, Carnival Lagniappe features relaxed versions of winning performances from the winners, but that was not the case for Golden Hands Steel Orchestra. Golden Hands tied with T&TEC New East Side Dimension for first place in the Small Conventional Steelbands Competition. Golden Hands was wonderful tonight. It felt like a winning performance played for a finals competition... just sweet as sweet can be! 

The energy in the air was palpable, with the crowd erupting in cheers and applause after each mesmerizing tune. It was a night that showcased the true spirit of Carnival (even though King Carnival is resting until next year), where every note resonated with passion and talent, leaving everyone eager for more
