NACC Young Kings Monarch Finals 2025: A Night of Calypso Brilliance


The Queens Park Savannah in Port of Spain was alive with the vibrant sounds of calypso on February 18, 2025, as the National Action Cultural Committee (NACC) hosted the highly anticipated Young Kings Monarch Finals. This year's competition, streamed live by WACK Visual Radio 90.1 FM, showcased the immense talent and creativity of 18 young calypsonians vying for the prestigious title of Young King. 

The energy was palpable as the crowd cheered for their favorite performers, each bringing their unique flair to the stage. With captivating lyrics and infectious rhythms, the young artists highlighted pressing social issues while celebrating their rich cultural heritage, making it a night to remember for all in attendance.

If you were wondering if there is a defending champion, the answer is no! Mical Teja, last year's Young King, will be the guest performer.
