National Panorama Semis Medium and Large Bands 2024: Savannah Party

The National Panorama competition is the most prestigious event for steelbands in Trinidad and Tobago. The Savannah Party, which will be held tomorrow at the Queen’s Park Savannah in Port of Spain, is the semifinal for the medium and large conventional bands. This year, Pan Trinbago decided to allow all 16 steelbands from the preliminary round of competition to move on to the semi-finals. Fourteen medium bands will compete for a place in the finals.

As mentioned above, all large bands from the preliminaries will be allowed to participate in the semifinals tomorrow. As reported in Newsday TT: "Pan Trinbago executive decided – in honor of its former president Patrick Arnold – to allow all large bands to the semifinals." This year, all musical arrangements, pan tonal quality, and overall sound are a pan-follower dream come true... excellence! The competition is going to be intense and they will be gnashing of teeth when the scores are announced.

The Savannah Party is a must-attend event for music lovers and enthusiasts alike. It is an opportunity to witness the best of the best in the steelband world and experience the vibrant culture of Trinidad and Tobago.
