Come and Get It by Edwin Yearwood x DJ Spider | Soca 2024

Did you hear what Edwin said? "No dessert until you eat your dinner"! Now, if you arrive with a ravenous appetite, do not think twice about it. "Eat it all," lest someone accuse you of lying. If you are not familiar with the language of Calypso or Soca then this may make sense on one level, but our culture likes to keep you guessing.
The song makes a lot more sense, though, if you are familiar with the way double entendres are used in Calypso and Soca.

Oh yes, you get it! Now that you understand what "food" Edwin is eating you can put that nasty look on your face as you groove to the music. We love our culture and feel that this song will become a favorite for Carnival revelers and all those upcome fetes. Enjoy some sweet Soca from Edwin Yearwood x DJ Spider.
