"Better belly buss than good food waste" when it comes to food and Christmas in sweet Trinidad and Tobago; and, that is exactly what young Zachary Ransome had in mind when he walked into the recording studio to lend his voice to a track entitled "First in the Kitchen". Take notice of the confidence this young eight-year-old delivers with his vocals. When questioned by Mr. Desmond (radio interview) he said he went to the recording studio just two times to record his vocals. Confidence and talent to deliver the goods. We have a star in the making and it begins with a Soca Parang track. The future looks good for this young talented son of the soil. Everyone can relate to the lyrical content of this song. If you grew up in Trinidad and Tobago this song will surely bring back memories of Christmas and the allure of a Trini Christmas kitchen. First in the kitchen to sample the casava pone, sweetbread, and that juicy delicious ham. We salute Zachary and his vocals but must give credit to Prince Unique out of Tobago for writing an age-appropriate song for Zachary. We must also credit Junior Ibo Joseph for his excellent work on the creation of the music for "First in the Kitchen". Kudos to all those with a vested interest in this production and artist, a star is born. We wish him well and look forward to posting his first Soca track.
