It's Christmas time in Trinidad & Tobago; it is time for some Soca Parang!
It is that time of the year when Parang music and Soca Parang songs compete for airplay with the newly released Soca songs for 2022. This season is different because the amount of new Soca songs released is not the same as in previous years. Why? Simply put, Covid-19 still has a lockdown grip on any upcoming carnival plans. Break out your maracas and cuatro guitars because that means that there is a real season for parang music this year! Paranderos will get all the attention they desired from their real fans but most of all the casual fans will be on board now that Soca music and Carnival 2022 is in Limbo.
So there you have it, no excuses, and having said that we are dropping this one to usher in the Christmas season on Sokah2Soca. We think you will fall in love with the Soca Parang selections on this mix. Don't forget to leave your positive comments on this post as well as on YouTube for DJ Ninez.
