Essence (Miami Remix) | Imani Ray

If you are a fan of WizKid and his 'Made in Lagos' music release you will be familiar with his monster hit 'Essence'; it is a beautiful song. Tonight, while browsing for new Soca hits, I came across two songs, the first by Kerwin Du Bois and Farmer Nappy (Expensive) and the other by Imani Ray. The song by Imani Ray caught my attention. She did a remix of Essence for Miami Carnival. Imani Ray is US-born of Trini parentage so she is well-grounded in Caribbean culture. She is beautiful, multi-talented, and brought Essence, a superb song, into the house of Soca. We are pleased to drop this Miami Carnival teaser for those fans who will be traveling to catch some Miami carnival fever. Enjoy!
