This is new music on the Star-Crossed Riddim featuring the very talented artiste "Abdiel". This is a typical carnival-style Soca song delivered with some silky smooth vocals from Abdiel. If you love songs that deal with 'wining' then this is one that will get a pass from us. Abdiel has a growing fan base. He is very talented but he will have to work to make this one work with the listening public.

The verdict: a nice song to groove with someone special with the sweet-sounding voice of Abdiel. The artiste will have to work hard to get this one out there... it is a rough road to travel for R& B style vocals on Soca riddims... we love Abdiel all the same. Now while this style may not appeal to the Trini audience it may just feel right in North America but then again the lyrical content and the terms 'wine and whining' may not appeal to the American audience. This is a hit or miss business, we wish Abdiel much success.
