Y Dou (It Sweet) | Teddyson John x KES | Saint Lucia 2019

Karnaval or as we say in English Carnival comes down to one thing, feting and having a good time. Today we present a carnival anthem from Teddyson John and KES (Kees) of KES the Band entitled "Y Dou". Simply put this song pays tribute to everything that we love about lady Karnaval; Lady Carnival is just too much to handle... too sweet, yes, "Y Dou"!

Usually, we get songs that are engaged in winning, jamming and engaged in the wicked movements of curvaceous hips gyrating to sweet Soca music. This song is different in that it celebrates a movement of people celebrating a festival together... carnival, yes we love her so much!

This song is infectious, the singers are excellent. Teddyson John and Kees of KES The Band are two of the very best the Caribbean have to offer. We love the combination and everything sounds vocally impressive.

Sing praises for those involved with this production. It is a joy to see the artistes out of Trinidad and Tobago getting involved with new music releases for carnivals outside of Trinidad and Tobago. Teddyson John (Saint Lucia) is a beloved artiste in Trinidad and Tobago. This combination just celebrates an excellent music production by Focus Production and Darwin Guard. This song is a keeper... we love it!

Music Release Notes
Carnival, Karnaval
She infectiously greets you...
African, Spanish, French, English ancestry….
She has different flavors and unique flare.
An overt sensuality,  yet an authentic cultural sacredness.
This time with a hint of French, a tease of Kweyol, a dose of sweetness.
A pulsating seductive bass-line, attention grabbing 'ti bois', and horns heard a mile away
She’ll make you come alive, she’ll lift you and move you
She’ll touch your soul…. Karnaval
