Blame it on the alcohol.. it's the rum that made me do it! That is like saying that the dog ate my homework... own it my friend! Today we feature a song entitled "Rum Do Dat" sung by the artiste whose sobriquet is "Skarpyon".  Along with the musical mind of Kamal Archibald we have a sweet musical vibe released for Vincy Mas 2019. We think you will like this one.

We are enamored with this one because of the music. We don't like rum songs but this one has a vibe and a story. A very limited story but one that works for this song. It is always easy to blame something for the errors of our selfish ways. If you went to a fete and drank to the point that you can't remember who you went with (better yet the woman who you went with) then you are in serious trouble. The lesson here is that one should know one's limits. Go easy, don't drink to the point that you lose your mind. Remember friend don't let friends drive drunk! Fans of Skarpyon will love this one. We think that the vocals are weak but the music has a vibe and will propel this one as Vincy Mas takes flight. We expect that Soca song writers should and could become a bit more involved in developing better lyrical content when they come up with an idea for a song. Soca music lovers are expecting more from the talent out there. Remember a producer can come up with excellent music but the vocals and lyrical content will be the icing on the cake!
