This is new Calypso music for Trinidad and Tobago Carnival from veteran singer Gypsy. This song may cause some consternation but that is the sign of a good calypso.
Here is a question for you... do you think that while writing 'Faking Country' Gypsy thought that people will substitute the work Faking for one less subtle? Are you thinking 'f*cking' instead of 'faking'?
Oh boy, be careful with those thoughts but I can already hear those whom are dismayed by the current political and economic status of the country using that substitute word to emphatically express their disgust for our current situation.
Regardless of the connotation of the use of a substitute word we have to love Gypsos!
