It is a foregone conclusion that Marchel Montano will take the Road March title for Trinidad and Tobago Carnival 2018. The release of Soca Kingdom that features Machel x Super Blue simply destroyed the competition. Sorry Patrice and the same goes for Iwer and Badjohn Republic but I have a Machel x Super Blue vs Machel challenge for Soca Music lovers.
Here we go... It is my opinion that Showtime is the better song. Showtime is all about playing yourself and having fun. I understand that Soca Kingdom has all the needed attributes but the vibe coming out of 'Showtime' simply seals the deal for me. Machel is boss for sure but which Machel will prevail for Carnival 2018 is the question.
Soca Kingdom has been anointed the Road March song for Carnival 2018 already. However, I will be smiling, no love lost, if "Showtime" steals the show! What is your opinion? We have two road mixes for your to listen to and access the songs for carnival impact and road warrior vibes. Tell us what you feel, not just what you think!
