This one dropped quietly last night catching us by surprise. Machel Montano has teamed up with Precision Productions to bring us a song entitled, "Rough Wine". The excitement is palpable as fans of the Monk wake up to learn that he has dropped his first music release for Trinidad and Tobago Carnival 2018. So what is the verdict? Did the music release live up to the hype that Machel should generate?

Now comes the hard part and fans of Machel Montano and Precision Productions will not be happy with us after reading our take on this song. We are not excited... as a matter of fact, we are a little disappointed. Why? Well, let's make a cologne analogy for this music release. "Rough Wine" is like a cologne that everybody wears, it just does not stand out! Let's face it, this song has a very generic feel. This is not going to be a memorable song but a good first entry with better vibes to come.

I am sure that you (if you are a Montano/Precision Production fan) may be upset with us now but this is where you come into the fray. If you love the song and think that it is a potential hit song then we encourage you to support the artiste and the production team.
