"Handle It" is the name of this selection presented here for your listening pleasure. This song, produced by Nikholai Greene seemed to have missed an excellent opportunity.
Two Soca artistes who can actually sing... that is a positive thing. The introduction to the song was wicked... that goes without saying... just listen to the into.
To continue the discussion we have to agree that the singing is good and the music production well done but then there is a 'damn couldn't they have done better' moment! So what is the issue here? Well the basic problem that plagues Soca music... the lyrical content. Damn, what a wasted opportunity!
We seemed to be stuck in a ground hog moment with 'bumpers, wining and pushing back on it'... come on guys, the same singing style, musical vibe and better crafted lyrical content would have taken this song to a better place...
Is anyone listening out there? Please, "Handle It"!
