On Saturday February 18th. 2017 the semi final round of competition for the Trinidad and Tobago Calypso Monarch will be held at Skinner Park, San Fernando. The reigning Calypso Monarch, Devon Seale, will defend his title on Dimanche Gras night against the singers making it to the finals from this Calypso Fiesta Event. 

The following list of Calypsonians (40 semi-finalists) along with two reserves were published today by the governing body for Calypso in Trinidad and Tobago 'The Trinbago Unified Calypsonians' Organization aka TUCO'. 

Take a look at the list of names, sobriquet or stage name and the songs listed below; you need to be familiar with everything below to be able to follow the proceedings for the radio broadcast/Internet stream.
