Let's take a trip 'up de islands' and visit Dominica and the land of Reggae. Today we feature a patriotic song from Soca Johnny and Imar Shepard. The song is entitled "Sweet Country".

Love of country and songs showing love of country is always a positive thing. This song is a production of Kendal Laurent for Music Box Production/Triple K International. We enjoyed listening to this production. The music is more on the traditional sound of Soca. The use of the brass is a welcome infusion. We noticed that brass is back on much of the new music produced in Trinidad and Tobago.
