My Trinbago | Kassman | Trinidad & Tobago 2016

Did you hear the refrain? It is Kaiso, Kaiso and that is the cry when someone hears a really good Calypso. Any song that has nationalistic value is always revered by lovers of the Calypso art form. This one stands out and deserves every credit/kudos that Kassman will receive in the Calypso tents this year. The song is entitled "My Trinbago"; it is time to 'love up' sweet TNT once again!

The production notes provides all the information that you need to know about the song but we need to applaud the production team for the work done on this wonderful song. Kudos to the Kassman for the lyrical content and for the vocal performance. Next on the list is Mr. Kenny Phillips, a man with a vision for our culture and one who stands up for the culture of Calypso. KP (Kenny Phillips) also played lead guitar on the track, arranged and produced the song for KMP music studios.

Having noted everything above it really comes down to the song. This one hits the sweet spot. A nationalistic song and a lyric video to make you homesick. If you live abroad, be warned that the video and the lyrical content will make you want to go home... see that is what happens when you eat the cascadura!

Zagada ( loves the song and recommends that you call a friend and spread the word about this song. Calypso is alive and good Calypso music will always come out of KMP music studios.
