It looks like the 'De Vibes Cyah Start' with Machel for Trinidad and Tobago Carnvial 2016. It is late October and not a word about new music from Soca's number one artist. No one appears to be concerned about this or people simply don't know anything about the situation. Now I don't live in a corner house but I have friends who do... but the final word is 'salt'!

There are no teasers and no word out of any production camp indicating that Machel is working on any songs with them. Of course it is happening but everyone is tight-lipped! It is just likely that Machel is working with Kubiyashi out of Grenada or with Precision Production out of Trinidad (also based in Los Angeles, California USA). Oh, and by the way, Machel is also based in California (wink, wink)!

Machel has never disappointed and one can only hope that he delivers in excess of six songs for the upcoming festival. I do hope that he brings individual songs not related to any riddim. 

He is the Soca star and he should stand out and not sound the same (as in same music/same riddim) as the rest of the Soca World. It appears that most Soca artists today want to 'jump on a riddim' to get their sound and song out there. However, even thought one may favor a riddim an artist can get lost in a riddim if there are so called 'big names on the riddim'. 

So if you have some information and can give all those Machel Maniacs out there some hope that something will drop soon then please add a comment to this post. 

Machel Music is out there some where. However, we are impatient and want to get something. Hey a teaser will do for now! The Machel watch continues....

Well I said at the beginning of the post that it looks like 'De Vibes Cyar Start' but the truth is one of my favorite Machel songs is "Vibes Cyar Done"  So here goes with one of my favorite Machel tracks... rekindle and prepare for greatness in 2016!

Now we know that VCD was hot for Carnival 2012 but we also need to touch Carnival 2015. So we have to go to "Party Done" that was released with Angela Hunte. This song simply blew up and is still a must play track for Carnival fetes around the World!  So don't duck this one play it again and enjoy the vibez!
