The Power Soca race is surely heating up with fire coming from the man who once ruled this music category. This is new music from the great Austin "Super Blue" Lyons. The song is entitled "Twinkle Star".
The radio stations are already going crazy with this song.It isn't that it is the best Power Soca song released to day (that is always a matter of opinion) but simply because it is music released by Super Blue. It is a bonus to hear him after the years he was out of the scene. He is back and anything released is considered 'golden' by his adoring fans.
Twinkle Star is the name of the track and he is competing for a place in the Power Soca category. The song, released yesterday, has already received about 9,000 views on YouTube. This is the song that is getting a lot of attention today in Trinidad and Tobago.
As with everything else in Trinidad time will be the deciding factor. We have Power Soca songs released from the heavy hitters already. My favorite/leader of the pack as it all stands today is Exodus by done by Bunji Garlin and Jus Now. Super Blue fans will have their highs but after the dust has settled I expect Bunji with Exodus to rise to the top!
