This is a repost from Barbados Crop Over Carnival 2014! This riddim is special and the music is really sweet! I have to admit that after playing the songs tonight (Sunday 01/04/2015) I realized that most of Trinidad and Tobago missed out on some really sweet songs. So here they are again! This is the Sour Sop Riddim with Saddis, Leadpipe (yes the very same Leadpipe and Saddis who gave you "Ah Feeling") and Inches.

Please don't simply browse over this posting... make a conscious effort and take some time out of your schedule to listen to the songs on this riddim. The music is sweet and deserving. Trinidad and Tobago Carnival could only be sweeter with the addition on this riddim... these songs! Enjoy the vibez!

Studio B has blessed the ears with a fruitful melody we call the Soursop Riddim. The fruit appears in the season of rhythm, rhymes and rum; Crop Over. The Soursop Riddim shall heal you through your ears!

Vibes, that mystical feeling in the atmosphere we can not ignore. Inches certainly could not contain himself under the influence of the beloved Soursop. Oh what a feeling Sweet Soca brings! "Vibes".

Lead Pipe's creative juices yielded the "Carnival Addiction". The song is as rich in content as the fruit itself. Here a Carnival lover expresses the love if party and all that accompanies it. Melodies marry from beginning to end.

Saddis taps into the healing powers of the music, he says "Take away mi stress and wine...". Isn't it interesting how we depend on music to drown away our sorrows and grievances throughout life? The Soursop Riddim shall absorb them all !
