This is new music from the 'Queen of Bacchanal', Destra Garcia, for Trinidad and Tobago's Carnival 2015; the song is entitled "This Bam Bam Is Yours". I am not enamored with this presentation from Destra. Having said that, we all know that the people (Soca music lovers) will eventually decide on the merits of this song.
Destra is too damn talented to be singing these types of songs... seriously now. Indeed, she is very talented and can get better material to sing about to make an impact for any carnival. This song is a big disappointment. Damn there were so many talented people involved with this song and this is what we get?!?!?!?
Does she sound good on the track? Yes she does, but I seriously think she should graduate from singing songs that have no value and no lasting appeal.
I have said what I wanted to say... come on Destra, you are too damn talented to be singing low level songs like this one. Even the name of the song sucks!
