Saint Lucia's Carnival for 2014 is officially scheduled for the month of June. Carnival Monday is June 9, 2014 and today we feature one of the new riddims released for the festival. There are seven songs on this vibe for your listening pleasure. The music is a mixture of genres and may not appeal to the true Soca music lover. This is a case of love it or not; either you love the music or you don't!
If you are a fan of the artist/artists then you may find the mucic appealing. However, don't expect typical carnival music when you play these songs. Take a listen to the music and get ready to fete with the Lucians... Carnival Lucian style for 2014.

There are six songs on the Dutch Productions/Stratosphere Muzic Friendship Riddim. Released in 2014, the songs are “This is My Prayer” by Dutch, “True Friend” by Jay Budz, “Some F-k” by Blue, “What is Going on” by Ricky T, “Never Ashame” by Mongstar and “Baby I” by Marie-Anne.
The songs on the Riddim cover a range of topics including love, friendship and angst. The music of the Friendship Riddim combines a number of genres including Soca, reggae and pop. All the songs were recorded, mixed and mastered by Courtney “Curty” Louis at his Dutch Productions studios in Bois D’Orange, Saint Lucia.
