No Guns Allowed | Mantius | Saint Lucia/Dominica/T'dad 2014

I want you, dear reader, to heed the words of the Mantius Cazaubon as he embarks on this noble cause to help stamp out "gun violence" in the Caribbean! The song is a release for Carnivals across the Caribbean region for 2014 and is appropriately entitled "No Guns Allowed".

This message is so dearly needed in our societies where, it appears, we have lost all respect for human dignity, where love for one another is just 'talk for talk sake' and where violence (with the use of guns) seems to be the norm of the day. This has to stop and you are invited to join Mantius in his campaign. Spread the word around and invite people to listen to the song... God alone knows that our societies need help from above to set things right!

From Mantius:
This song is part of a campaign to stamp out gun violence and violence in all its forms in our communities. I'm sure you'd agree that we all need to do something with regards to gun violence. The number of murders every year is just unacceptable. It's sad. The people being killed are our own countrymen, people we know, people we are related to and so on. Gun violence affects us all. We need to feel safe again.

'No Guns Allowed' is geared towards promoting peace and love in our society and is part of a larger movement that fosters positivity.

I'd like you to join me in this important cause.

'No Guns Allowed' is written and performed by Mantius Cazaubon from Saint Lucia and produced by leading Dominican producer Dada Lawrence of Cotton Groove Studio, Dominica.

It's on the Madras riddim, which also features Skinny Banton from Grenada doing a song called Ah Want 2 Whine (All Night) as well as other regional artistes whose songs are yet to be released.
